Trentino

Trentino is the southern portion of the Trentino/Alto-Adige region. This area is planted to the valley floor of the Adige River Valley. Trentino is known for making excellent sparkling wines in the same style as Champagne and crisp white wines from Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and the two Pinots (Grigio & Bianco). Reds include some excellent Cabernet blends, Pinot Nero and the indigineous Teroldego.
