Sir Peter Michael produces some of Californias rarest wines and the Les Pavots Cabernet Sauvignon is probably his toughest to find.  The wine is produced from estate vineyards on Knights Valley close to the border of Napa and just over the mountain from Calistoga.  The wine has elegance and power and ages with finesse and complexity similar to a Bordeaux Premier Cru or Deuxieme Cru.
