This great Volnay Estate produces wines with a silky texture and aromas of ripe cherries and violets, very elegant stuff.

While the Champans presently has a bit more flesh around the structure, this is a classic Taillepieds built on its minerality and is best cellared by those blessed with ample patience as this is the most backward wine in the range today."
