Kermit Lynch is a name all too familiar in the wine world. Back in 1972, with only $5000 and a passion for wine, he turned from small businessman into a pioneer of the modern-day importing world. Lynch has been importing wines for over 40 years with a primary focus on small, artisanal producers he believes makes authentic wines that express their terroir and region.
Today, we are excited to share with you two wines he imports - a Bordeaux Blend and a Cheverny. Lynch came across the region of Cheverny in the mid-70s and immediately saw was the value and beauty of the wines. He became one of the first to import the region's wines to the United States in 1978.
