"A Pinot Noir from Villa Bastías, made from vines first planted in 1993, and only slightly aged, 10% in new oak, the rest in used. Made with 20% whole bunches and a roll fermenter. Bright ruby red in the glass. The slightly spicy nose offers hints of musk, earth and mushrooms, along with a little red currant, black fruit and some vegetable notes. Silky and a bit chalky in the mouth, it is bold with a packaged freshness and a long, well-defined finish."
