"The Pouri was fermented in tonneau and bottled unfiltered. The wine shows a cloudy citrus color and opens with a pretty untamed and yeasty bouquet that lacks precision yet not character. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, this is an intense and persistent Sauvignon with more flesh and texture compared to its twin. More tannins here, of course, but they're quite well integrated into the lushtexture. If you prefer your Sauvignon less aromatic and finessed but wilder, Mac's Pouri should be your choice. "
