"Lastly, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Lewelling Ranch is a step up over the 2013 and offers ample crème de cassis, smoked herbs, chocolate and hints of lead pencil. This full-bodied, ripe, supple Cabernet has plenty of chewy tannin and enough concentration to evolve for 10-15 years"
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon shows lots of Pauillac-like crème de cassis, cedar wood, forest floor and fruitcake. There’s a touch of white chocolate, a nice influence of spicy and the wine is full-bodied, fleshy and opulent. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. 92 pts Wine Advocate.
