"The wine comes from a single vineyard, Les Chaillots, which refers to stones in the local dialect. The vineyard is indeed stony, with many small rocks scattered across the surface, which provides excellent drainage for the vines, most of which are over 50 years old. This Pinot pours a mid-garnet color, emitting expressive aromas of blackberries and cherries combined with fresh earth and rocks. The palate displays a wonderful roundness, depth and texture that is impeccably balanced by a lively mineral core and firm, refreshing acidity.
