The base of the blend consists of 6.5-year-old Kentucky rye bourbon, 7-year-old high rye Indiana bourbon, and 8-year-old low rye Indiana bourbon. The initial base is bright and citrusy, with subtle notes of pepper and toffee. Gradually adding in the older-aged Kentucky bourbon enhances the overall dessert quality and richness, which was the vision for the blend.
