"This Pinot offers some appealing red berry fruit and spice on the nose, but there's a layer of mealy oak overlaying it that's distracting. The palate is somewhat disjointed as well, the slippery, tangy fruit is pinched by angular acidity, and there's a heavy layer of oak. It could be a case of being too young—the sulfur shows, too—but this doesn't make for hugely enjoyable drinking at the moment." (May 2022)
