"The 2021 Ribona from Boccadigabbia is a lovely example of this ancient varietal that is seldom found now in the Marche. The estate has two hectares planted with twenty-five year-old vines of Ribona and the wine is fermented and raised in stainless steel. The 2021 version comes in at an even thirteen percent octane and offers up a complex aromatic constellation of green olive, tart pear, lime peel, a touch of grassiness, dried flowers and a lovely base of soil tones. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and complex, with excellent depth at the core, a fine spine of acidity, excellent focus and grip and a long, well-balanced and classy finish. This really has impressive backend lift."

"Citrus fruit flavors greet you, followed by a creamy texture with the essence of lemon and lime. Clean and brilliantly refreshing. This pairs great with seafood and assorted cheeses."

"An expressive wine with pronounced fleshly grapefruit, white peach, passionfruit, and undertones of fresh cut grass. The mouth feel is crisp and clean with racy acidity, lively fruit, and a hint of minerality on the finish."

"Aromas of fresh peaches leap from the glass along with hints of ginger and lilac. Once sipped, a shower of foamy bubbles dance soulfully on the tip of your tongue and then burst into a medley of crisp citrus fruit." - Producer's Notes
